A homage to fantasy artist Boris Vallejo (1941 - present) and his 1981 painting Counterfeit Lover from Mirage. The woman is based off of the main character from the web comic We Will with the metallic right forearm, a bar code on the lower back to indicate her as a mass produced product, and multiple scars from several little wars. The small helpless puppy that is new to life to contrast with the durable steel limb with that has none.
